Having grown up admiring the stunning documentary work of artists like Brassai, Robert Doisneau and Mary Ellen Mark, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in photography from San Francisco State University in 1997.

I started my independent business shortly afterward, integrating my fine art and editorial background into event work. My approach is natural and discreet and curious. I strive to be a storyteller with the images I capture.

My work has been featured in publications such as People, Martha Stewart Weddings, W, Flaunt and the San Francisco Chronicle. My commercial clients include Levi Strauss, Virgin, Sony, Capitol Records and UCSF.
